Hi, I'm Andrew Burke-Stevenson.

Originally from the south suburbs of Chicago, I pursue stories often weighted with the idea of the individual self within the community and a 'chosen family,' stemming from my experience losing my biological father then gaining my adoptive father.

I also shoot short-term news, features and sports.

Most recently, I was the fall 2024 photo co-op at The Boston Globe. Previously, I was photo co-editor and later editor-in-chief of The Daily Free Press, Boston University’s student paper.

I've shot for The Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune & its local subsidiaries, Block Club Chicago, Chicago Reader, ZUMA Press, The Daily Free Press, H-F Chronicle, the U-High Midway and Nike Chicago.
